Elections of PFAN Board of Directors 2017-2019


PFAN is an association whose vision, objectives and legal activities are defined and looked after by a Board of Directors (BoD). As per the PFAN bylaws, the BoD has a tenure of three years, and hence the current BoD, elected in December 2013, will complete its term on 31st December 2016. Therefore, we need to elect a new board for the next 3-years term (January 2017 to December 2019). In this regard, all active PFAN members are encouraged and requested to participate in this important election process.

Anyone can be candidate for the BoD position if he/she qualifies the Full Member (not Associate or Affiliate Member) requirements, AND he/she has consistently maintained active, continuous membership in the last three years (2014 to 2016). It is expected that the BoD candidates are well aware of the association, its activities and its functioning. Therefore, all those who are eligible to become members of the Board are encouraged to volunteer themselves for the available positions. Please communicate to PFAN office if there is any confusion about the eligibility.

Application Procedure:
All candidates for the PFAN Board of Directors must submit their candidature latest by November 11, 2016 by providing a one page resume.
The candidates' information and bio-data will be announced among members, for the voting purposes only.

Voting:
The voting will take place in the 1st week of December 2016, at the PFAN office. Anyone can vote for the BoD position if he/she qualifies the Full Member requirements (see details at membership page), AND has active membership for the year 2016.

All board candidates will be required to physically attend the election meeting, and all eligible voting members are also encouraged to attend the meeting. However, online voting will be possible for those who will intimate the PFAN office 7 days prior to the voting date.
